Our Services

Captain Andy’s range of Enduro, Four stroke & Diesel Yamaha engines are supported by a powerful back up system consisting of excellent service facilities & highly experienced staff.

Our work shops are fully equipped & have a good range of Yamaha special tools.

We stock a comprehensive range of spare parts and have regular shipments coming in from the Yamaha parts depot in S. Africa.

We have workshop facilities in Watamu, Mombasa & Lamu. 

We also have service contracts with organisations as far afield as Somailia!

Our work shop staff keep abreast of new developments by regularly attending training courses organised in house or with Yamaha Motor, Japan.

Captain Andy's imports and also manufactures trailers.

We have built custom trailers for boats from 12 to 34 ft, the latter being triple axle and made of steel.

We also recently built a custom trailer for carrying bikes!

Trailer options include winch, springs, jockey wheel, ball hitch with damper, mud guards & guides,

Captain Andy's can organise customer training on basic engine & boat maintenance.

We want our customers to get the most out of our products.

Our courses are popular with private boat owners, NGO's and Government departments.

Captain Andy's offers training on boat handling to customers.

For a number of years we have offered basic courses to familiarise customers with the boat packages they have purchased.  

We have now taken this one step further and have trained some of our staff and upgraded our Mombasa premises with the result that we can now offer courses with RYA accreditation under the umbrella of our Indian Ocean Powerboat School.

We are currently able to offer up to Power Boat Level 2 (RYA) - internationally recognised qualifications.

Captain Andy's are leading experts in custom design marine products.

We have pipe bending, cutting & welding equipment - both Arc and TIG  i.e. steel, aluminium and stainless steel fabrication and welding.

We have to date completed a number of projects including trailers, sunshades, fishing towers and radar arches.
